This is a joint event with Anelare Winery, and Bon Voyage French School! We are presenting a series of cooking demos at Anelare Winery. Each of the dated events will focus on one French sauce (of the day). Featured sauces will be: Béchamel, Velouté, Tomato, Espagnole (brown), and Hollandaise. 

This first event on May 23rd from 6p - 8p will feature and demonstrate how to make a Béchamel sauce! $49/ticket... Anelare club members receive 15% off ticket price!

With each sauce there will be a cooking demo, appetizers and additional recipes including the sauce of the day. Ethos Bakery will also help with the demos and appetizer for the events with wine pairing provided by Anelare for the appetizers and the sauce of the day.

Keeping with tradition, the Anelare spring releases will be coming from the gorgeous Ciel du Cheval Vineyards. Sourced was Viognier and Roussanne to make our delicious Cuvée, Merlot, Syrah, and... Sangiovese. The Sangiovese is back for our beautiful Rosé!! Lots of fun to experience this spring season at Anelare, join us for gorgeous Washington wine, views, fare... and that Anelare vibe you just can't miss out on!

Nonna Club and friends always welcome! The Ciao Wagon will be the featured fare... Chef Jessie Ayala has a strong passion for his craft- simple, impactful ingredients make delicious creations. His style? A mix of Italian and Mediterranean. He loves to add in different elements to make each dish unique.  Also live music by Campbell's Soop Band from 1p - 4p!

Looking for a fun night out where you can have your cake and eat it too? Join Layered and Artfully Jem at Anelare Winery for a fun and unique cake decorating experience where you will create your own fall-themed birch bark cake in the flavor of your choice.

Class description:

Each student will recieve a fondant covered 6-inch round cake that is ready to be decorated. During the two hours of instruction, students will learn how to create the birch bark effect on the fondant as well as how to place fresh florals and fruits on the cake, and how to create a beautiful caramel drip. Once the class is complete, you will have your own 6-inch round decorated cake to take home and share with your family and friends (or keep for yourself!). All materials and tools needed to design the cake will be provided. Simply show up ready to have fun, be creative, and eat cake!

Multi-Instrumentalist and lead vocalist, ARNY Bailey performs for multiple tribute bands honoring such classic rock greats such as Styx, Paul McCartney, Boston and the Eagles. He and his band will be performing a selection of recognizable classics, along with original songs, in both acoustical and full-band formats. There will be something for everyone, whether you want to relax and enjoy the atmosphere or get up off your feet.
