This suave Cabernet Sauvignon uses grapes from Gamache Vineyards near the town of Basin City, Wash., and it includes a bit of Petit Verdot for complexity. It opens with aromas of rose hips, sweet herbs, dusty blackberry and vanilla bean. On the palate, it reveals flavors of black cherry, black walnut and molasses. The rich dark fruit is backed with an intense and harmonious structure. Choose meats and pasta dishes that call for an elegant, fruit driven Cabernet.
