OUR STORY

The business began with the first release of our 2005 vintage in the fall of 2007. It continues with the love and passion for where we live. Our vineyards thrive in Washington's unique terroir: long summer days and cool nights that coax every grape toward its fullest expression. Each bottle we produce carries the weight of that landscape and the care of generations. We strive to showcase that to the world. With the help of our accomplished winemakers Charlie Hoppes & Mitch Venohr, Kahryn personally works with iconic growers and the cellar team to source and create high quality, consistent wine that reflects the best of Washington state.

Anelare has maintained long-term relationships with some of the most notable vineyards in the state. Such as Ciel du Cheval, Red Heaven, DaLee, Candy Mountain, Boushey, Dionysus, Gamache, and Weinbau.

Anelare is nestled on the McBee hillside in Benton City, overlooking Red Mountain, Rattlesnake, and Badger Canyon.  In the beginning years, Anelare had a small tasting room in South Kennewick.  It was our dream to be in the heart of wine country… vineyards and orchards.  A true destination, and one with culture.  We believe that wine is about the journey, from when you get in the car to when you taste the wine in your glass.  Please join us for the incredible views and elegance of Washington wine.
